80,000-100,000 people on a field in Ireland!
Coldplay - turned down stadium shows with Aerosmith, couldn't turn this down Chris introduced Yellow by saying, "This is not a rebel song."
There was also a wedding proposal for a couple in the crowd - perfect introduction for their song Trouble
Red Hot Chili Peppers - dedicated Californication to lawn security guy out on a secured section of the lawn, standing all by himself. Encouraged everybody (boys and girls) to wave their shirts like a helicopter - a great effect from the top of the hill.
