Would The Mattman Own One? |
Kia |
Sportage |
About as solid and sturdy as a paper airplane. |
No Way! |
Subaru |
Outback |
Solid and peppy, but terribly suburban. |

Mitsubishi |
Galant |
Initially, the stereo was playing the music of the 'hood and the bass was set at a butt-thumping +6. A more
comfortable level was -2. So generic-looking, Mattimus "lost" this non-descript "greige" vehicle in three parking lots. What is "greige"? It depends on the lighting; it's either grey or
beige. |

Ford |
Taurus SES - Pimpin' Beige |
Same identity issues as the Galant, but less peppy. There's also one glaringly and confoundingly stupid design
flaw: THERE'S NO CUPHOLDER! HELLO?! Ford basically sets the automotive industry back a couple decades with this POS. It's a geezermobile that asks the ultimate question: Why? |

Toyota |
Corolla LE |
Unassuming car, boring white exterior. The dashboard lights up nicely. Overall: Passable but unspectacular performance. |

Ford |
Taurus SES - Extremely Plain White |
OK. There IS a cupholder, but it's hidden in a stupid, awkward place and I'm not impressed. It's still a POS. |
No. |
Buick |
Century |
Weak excuse for a car. During a heavy rain storm, the entire car shook because the wipers were moving at
high speed. Also, the CD player skipped on the pot hole-ridden streets of Baltimore's urban jungle. |
No. |
Chevy |
Malibu |
Just another car. While the ability to have the car stereo on without a key in the ignition is a nice novelty, having to turn it off separately becomes kind of annoying after a while. After all, in the life of the Mattman, every millisecond counts. |

Nissan |
Altima 2.5S |
Thoroughly average in almost every way. Bad design on the automatic shift. Superfluous stereo/CD player buttons on the steering wheel are subject to inadvertent pushing while simply driving. That's annoying! |

Pontiac |
Grand Am |
It made me miss my PT Cruiser even more. |
